My mom bought a used car from the Harbor Chrysler Dealership for me since my credit was not the best at the time. The car was not a Chrysler but it should not have mattered. They did not take care of the things that you would expect. Upon delivery I noticed many things (my mom should have noted but they should not have sold the car in such a condition): It came with a very very loud exhaust canister that would no way pass the legal decibel limits and thus would not be legal. It did not come with rear headrests which would be a liability in an accident. All cars regardless if is used should meet the minimal safety requirements and be legal from the start. The car had no stereo (which they had an even more questionable party install a month later), no properly working speakers, a torn up interior and trunk area with holes that you could see the ground through, glove compartment had a hole in it and fell off, holes in the headliner, interior lamps did not come on when the door opened, no engine cover, broken driver's side window switches, and a host of dings and scratches on the exterior. All this on top of a teeth-shattering bouncy suspension and pink map lights. My mom should not have bought the car in such a condition, I realize that, but she is naive when it comes to car purchasing and they took advantage of that. My biggest gripe is that they would even allow such a car to be sold as is. The car had a 1 month warranty and when we brought the issues to them they took care of only a few things and told us we had to do the rest ourselves. It was by far the worst car-buying experience I have had thus far and what made it worse was how much they took advantage of the situation with very poor customer service afterwards.

From the get-go the dealership worked hard for the sale. They understood the competition in the market and, between factory offered incentives and a sharp sales manager we walked away with a loaded PT Cruiser for a sweet price.

Service department experience was very good as well. We opted for LOJACK (I won't own another car without it in CA). They kept the appointment and delivered the car clean and without any service extra's (even though the work for the install was by an 'outside' technician!!!).

So far big KUDO's to Jim and his crew.

Great service, very helpful. The only thing I did not like was the manditory teflon coating on the car.
